Orlando, are you ready for a taste of international music sensation Pitbull? The Latin super star takes center stage this Saturday as Universal Orlando’s Mardi Gras counts down to the last two weeks. The authentic, family-friendly celebration runs select nights through April 20 and also includes a dazzling parade, tons of Mardi Gras beads and Universal’s very own French Quarter Courtyard – complete with authentic New Orleans bands, delicious Cajun cuisine and more.
Schedule of Events for Saturday, April 13:
· 4 p.m. – French Quarter Courtyard Opens
· 7:45 p.m. – Mardi Gras Parade Starts
· 8:30 p.m. – Pitbull Concert Begins
If you want to see the concert, you have to arrive early and be prepared to camp out for the best viewing. My suggestion is to enjoy the parade from near its end, then hangout for a bit until the concert starts. The crowds will eventually thin enough that you can get an okay view from the back or sides of the lawn.
