This morning, Ihu’s Breakaway Falls – the tallest, steepest and only multi-drop tower slide of its kind in Orlando – officially opened at Aquatica, SeaWorld’s Waterpark. Chuck Cureau, the splash ambassador, kicked things off this morning with Bryan Nadeau, Vice President of Aquatica, and a celebration that included dancers and drummers. Once the ride officially opened, guests who climbed the 126 steps to the top received a commemorative ‘First to Fall’ t-shirt.
I also had the opportunity to interview Bryan Nadeau and ask him a few things about Orlando’s tallest, steepest and only multi-drop tower slide of its kind and, of course, go on Ihu’s Breakaway Falls myself.
My son also went on the water slide over 50 times. His take on the attraction is over on The Disney Blog.
