Conneaut Lake Park To Be Sold Off In Pieces

Sad news for one of America’s shrinking number of amusement parks. Conneaut Lake Park trustees were unable to raise the money to pay off back taxes. Now the park is set to be sold off in pieces.

Home to the ‘Blue Streak’ coaster, recently refurbished and designated historic by American Coaster Enthusiasts, Conneaut Lake Park provided family fun and entertainment to millions since its opening in 1892. Although many people worked hard to preserve the history, several fires added to the difficulty of saving the park.
