It’s Florida, so while the cool temperatures may have returned for one last February fling this week, the atmosphere will soon be elevated back to the range that makes Central Florida such a lovely place to work, live, and play. If you’re looking for some weekend water park fun, you’ll definitely want to head down to Tampa’s Busch Gardens and their popular Adventure Island.

The fun in the sun kicks off on Saturday, March 9 for the 2013 season. It’s time again to splash in the wave pool, amble down the Rambling Bayou, race down speed slides, including Everglides and Riptide, or just kick back on the beach amidst a tropical Key West setting.

Adventure Island also announced that Island Nights will return this summer. That means, when the sun goes down, the fun heats up at Adventure Island during Island Nights, a sunset celebration every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night from June 13 to Aug. 10. From 5 to 9 p.m. the energy revs up with music and games on the beach, entertainment and tropical-inspired cuisine, in addition to all the thrilling slides, tube rides and water-drenched fun of Adventure Island.

The best value to visit all season long is the Adventure Island Weekday Pass.
